I went to Target this evening to buy wiper blades. It's so weird being there, because it looks exactly like the place I worked for five years. I get all nostalgic when I see certain areas of the store, then I remember that the memories associated with that particular aisle or whatever actually belong to a similar (read: exactly the same) looking location thousands of miles away. It's a bizarre feeling. But I got my wiper blades, so I'm happy.
The weather forecast is predicting a blizzard tomorrow. Sounds like all kinds of fun.
We're getting released from work at 1415 tomorrow in order to have a big squadron get-together up at the chalet. Since we have PT tomorrow, the workday is going to start late as it is. Add the early release, plus free food and drinks, and tomorrow's looking like it should be a good day. Also, it's Friday, which is always good.
I'm getting sleepy, but first, the arbitrary J-pop birthday...
...hold on...arbitrary is not the word I was looking for. Crap. I can't think of the word I meant to use. It means, like, to do something because I feel like I have to...
...
Obligatory!!!
The obligatory J-pop birthday. Only two girls of the dozens I follow share the exact same birthday, and both happen to be with AKB48. Miku Tanabe and Haruka Ishida. Neither are particularly noteworthy as far as my favorites go, but they've both had one or two noteworthy moments. Also, they both happened to make the current senbatsu (from the janken tournament) for Chance no Junban (which is out next week), which is really awesome for both of them. Ishida is actually in the #2 spot for that (Yuko Oshima's normal spot, crazily enough), and I'm not entirely sure where Tanabe ended up, but I know she's already had a pretty good year anyway, with a decent role in Majisuka Gakuen. Wow. These two are so low on my J-Idol echelon, and I can still go on and on about them. But, I'll stop now, post a photo of them, and I'm off to bed. Good night.
