15 Characters

I always enjoy going back to my old posts to see what was going on exactly a year ago. I just read my December 3rd post (a year ago yesterday) and discovered that I had changed my banner picture on that day, which I also just so happened to have done last night. Weird.

Speaking of weird, Anchorage seems like the best spot in the States for really bad local commercials. I happened to find one on YouTube. Check this dude out ^__^

In my younger years, I remember kiwis being a food item that I would not go near. I don't know why; maybe because they're fuzzy. But I've recently discovered that I really like kiwis. Yum.

I did a "15 Fictional Characters That Have Influenced You" thing on Facebook, and, to be fair, tried to keep them to one per source. Otherwise, I think they all would have come from The Lord of the Rings. Or the Marvel universe. Or possibly Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Anyway, I couldn't let myself get away with less than two from The Lord of the Rings, so I sort of broke my own little rule, but otherwise it's fairly diverse. Also, as a stipulation, the rules mentioned to do it quickly, rather than to sit and put a lot of consideration into it. So...here are 15 of my most unforgettable, influential characters:

01 - Allen Francis Doyle (Angel)
02 - Boo Radley (To Kill a Mockingbird)
03 - Calvin (and Hobbes)
04 - Desmond Hume (Lost)
05 - Eowyn (The Lord of the Rings)
06 - Kermit the Frog (The Muppet Show)
07 - Leto Atreides II (Dune)
08 - Luke Skywalker (Star Wars)
09 - Sado (Majisuka Gakuen)
10 - Samwise Gamgee (The Lord of the Rings)
11 - Severus Snape (Harry Potter)
12 - Spike Spiegel (Cowboy Bebop)
13 - Steve Rodgers (Marvel Universe)
14 - Xander Harris (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)
15 - Zelda/Sheik (The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time)

It's pretty easy to psychoanalyze a person over a list like that. I've put more thought into it now, and might make an expanded list with some of the important ones I left out.

Ever since I did that thing, I've been in a major Lord of the Rings mood, which is cool, because it seems like it's been a while since I've delved into some Tolkien.

It is officially after midnight now, so I think I'm going to head to bed.
