...is graduation day.
After that, I'll just need to pass my Security+ exam and finish all my outprocessing.
Ten more duty days.
The test tomorrow will not be an easy one, so I need to get back to studying, but the end of this era of my life is very much in sight, and I'm excited.
Wish me luck.

Here We Go...
The final stretch.
My last 18 days of the training phase of my military career.
There will be no goofing off over the course of these final few weeks.
I'm going to buckle down and commit to studying and doing everything else I need to do in order to get out of here on July 16th.
Putting aside the video games and the web-surfing and not spending so much time with my J-Idols for a short amount of time in order to set myself up for success is key.
After I pass my tests, attend my briefings, do all my paperwork, and leave this base, I'll be able to have a normal life again.
The Air Force will soon be a job rather than a way of life.
And I can't wait.

My Weekend Project
Considering that this was my first real attempt at doing something like this, and the fact that I ran into the issue of not really figuring out how to properly work the process until the project was about 75% complete, this still turned out half-way decent.
Actually, it's not anywhere where I want it to be, and if I were to redo it, it'd turn out better, but I ended up getting frustrated and decided to just go ahead and upload what I had. The timing and mix are off and the vocals were kind of a half-effort, but whatever...
Anyway, what I did was lower the pitch of the song to a point that would better suit my vocal range, and proceeded to sing all 21 girls' parts individually. I mixed them all together, and re-raised the pitch back to their original level. It's a bit chipmunk-y, but like I said, this was a first attempt and I now know how to sort of fix that issue. The second video is tracked with my original vocals on the lowered pitch.
Enjoy ^__^
(Oh...and Acchan's nose-crinkle at about the 59 second mark is just...♥♥♥)

More Ouch
I got a wisdom tooth pulled today.
If you are ever bored one day and start wondering what it might feel like to stick a needle directly into a tooth-nerve, don't attempt it. Just take my word on the fact that it hurts in a rather extreme fashion.
Now I'm on a Jell-o and Vicodin diet for a while.
The good news is that, medically, I'm all clear to get the heck out of here, and I no longer face the possibility of having to stick around longer than I would like.
Also, I got a 95 on my test this morning, which is darn good considering the fact that I never studied for the thing.
On to Block IV tomorrow, and I can tell that it's going to be a little rough, but I'll do fine.
The end of my military training is in sight.

Ouch
I had a tooth filled today, and now it hurts with an indescribable pain. It's so bad that I can't concentrate, and I really need to study for tomorrow morning's block test.
Oh, and tomorrow afternoon I get to go to the oral surgeon, who will more than likely inform me that I'll need to have all my wisdom teeth pulled, so there's more pain to look forward to.
So far I'm not having the greatest week.

I'm timing myself on how long it takes me to write this...
And...GO!
So I finally have an official graduation date of July 21st. It's nice to be able to look at a calendar and know how much longer I have left in this place.
The bulk of my outprocessing briefings are done. I have to go to the dentist on Monday and to the oral surgeon on Tuesday to fix the issue of a cavity in one of my wisdom teeth. They may go ahead and pull all of them.
Class has been a piece of cake, so no trouble there.
Our squadron won MTF of the month for being the top training squadron on base, which is awesome, as it pleases the MTLs. As a reward, they have decided to sign off on everybody's open ranks this month, which means I never have to worry about that again.
I hope to post something silly that I've kind of been working on a bit sometime this week, so be on the lookout for that.
And...there's a brief update of my life. It took all of four minutes. Therefore, there is no excuse for me not getting on here and updating more frequently.
So there.
